Here's an honest question.
If teachers are evaluated based on standardized test scores of their students -- and, bearing in mind, I'm not saying that should be the case -- then why is the person who holds the highest office in the land not held to a similar standard?
Why is their ability to retain their office not based on their constituents' rates of birth, mortality, poverty, un/employment... ?
Or, for the dedicated capitalists among you: GDP, USD exchange rate, average net worth... ?
